Scottish Branch Dinner Dance

The Scottish Branch annual dinner dance once again took place at the Glynhill House Hotel, Renfrew. Our numbers were up slightly on the previous year and this was largely due to the generosity of sponsors.

Our President, Dr Tom Paterson welcomed National President Peter Nix and his wife Ruth along with the North East Branch President Dave March and his wife Elaine.

After dinner, Peter presented George Beattie with his Long and Notable Service Certificate. Peter also intimated that Jack Gunning was due to be presented with his but due to ill health Jack was unable to attend the dance.

John Paterson, Vice President, closed the dance with a vote of thanks in which he thanked all who helped make a success of the evening both with their attendance and the generosity of the donations for the Tombola.
