Technician of the Year Awards 2008

The Institute's Technician of the Year Awards are open for nominations as follows:
Awarded to the best person studying, or recently qualified, at level 3 of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) or equivalent.
Awarded to the best person studying, or recently qualified, up to level 6 of the NQF or equivalent.
The category A and B winners, and their nominating educational establishment, will each receive £500.00 respectively. The awards are open to those currently studying materials, minerals or mining technology or related subjects and those who have completed such courses within the last two years. There is no age limit.
The nominees will be shortlisted and successful candidates will be invited to London for interview. It is anticipated that the interviews will be held during December, exact dates will be advised in due course.
Completed nomination forms should be completed and received by IOM3 by Friday, 17th October 2008.
