Nominations Invited for apprentice award
Nominations are now invited from apprentices (or recently completed apprentices) employed in the cast metals industry for the REMET Apprentice of the Year Award.
This is an ideal way to recognise your apprentices and their achievements.
To apply, each applicant is required to submit a short paper not exceeding 1,000 words, describing their activities during their Apprenticeship and the benefits it has brought them.
The closing date for applications is the 30th April 2010.
The recipient will receive an engraved silver cup to be held for a period of one year which will be presented at the ICME's Annual Award Luncheon.
In addition the REMET Award winner will be presented with a mounted and engraved silver-plated bronze medal and a framed certificate which may be kept, along with a financial reward.
Applications should be forwarded to Dr Pam Murrell, The Institute of Cast Metals Engineers, National Metalforming Centre, 47 Birmingham Road, West Bromwich, West Midlands, B70 6PY. Email: email@example.com.
