The Scottish Branch Quiz Night was held on 5th December and was hosted by Mr Bob Brown FICME.
The night began with a finger buffet sponsored by Ceramco, and Branch President Robert Bell FICME welcomed everyone and the evening began with two presentations: the first was to present Jim Erskine FICME his Past President’s badge and secondly a long service award was presented to Andrew Laing Prof MICME for 35 years in membership of the institute.
The quiz was again very well supported with twenty four members and friends attending, making up six teams.
After ten rounds of very mixed questions, the victors were George Beattie FICME, Rose Beattie and Bob Sims MICME team called ‘Grey Matters’.
Robert closed the night with a vote of thanks and wished everyone a safe journey home.
