The development of current and future leaders for the casting and foundry industry, and its supply chain, is crucial.  Nurturing our employees is the key to the future development of the industry.  We have designed a suite of targeted leadership and management courses that will be delivered throughout 2022.

‘Coaching for Success’ is taking place on the 26th & 27th January 2022 at the ECMS, National Foundry Training Centre.

Course details – this practical 2-day coaching course is based on coaching as a fundamental part of staff development enabling individuals to learn, grow and reflect on their skills to share within the organisation.
Ideal for anybody who manages people or relationships and anyone seeking to improve their knowledge and understanding of how to improve your own performance and the performance within a team.
Some example topics covered during the course are: the psychology of getting a ‘Yes’, coaching and creative thinking, stages to achieve your end goals and ideal performance.

What you will learn by attending:

• Develop skills, behaviours and confidence for successful coaching
• How to understand the difference between coaching and mentoring, including the context and situations where coaching can be utilised
• Be able to use coaching as a personal and professional development tool
• Spend less time solving human process and behaviour issues
• Use coaching to become more proficient in your managerial role
• Gain confidence in your ability to effectively coach others
• Improve your interpersonal and problem solving skills

All the ICME L&M courses have been designed to be applicable to any department or division within the casting, foundry industry and the associated supply chain, from marketing, sales and administration, to quality and technical.

Courses will:

  • Include an ICME Certificate with allocated CPD hours for all delegates, (attendance on both dates will be required to complete the courses).
