Paul Gullick proudly wearing his ICME Gold Pin, presented to him after 50 years of Membership.

ICME is delighted to present Mr Paul Gullick FICME IEng MCIM with his Gold Pin in recognition of 50 years in membership.

Over the last 50 years at the Institute Paul has been active in the West Midlands branch, serving as Branch President in 1996. Paul was involved in many initiatives like the Young Foundryman Award, the Schools’ Prize and Scholarship schemes. He helped form the Young Foundryman’s Society.

He retained an interest in education and is a Trustee of the Foundry Training Trust, (formerly the Tor Lodge & Applecross Trust). In 2000 he received a Long & Notable Services Award from the Institute and in 2016 , the Oliver Stubbs Medal for the dissemination of technical knowledge in the industry.

Paul is still deeply involved in the delivery of many training courses that ICME offers and the delivery of the Diploma in Foundry Technology.

Paul said, upon receiving his Gold Pin, “I am delighted to have received my Gold Pin.  I hope to continue my work with the Institute, as I don’t intend on going away any time soon!”

We would like to thank Paul for his on-going support of ICME.
