On Monday 15th January the West Midlands Branch and a total of 43 attendees who had gathered at Churchill’s Club, Wednesbury, were treated to an excellent quiz, kindly devised and compered once again by Simon Alexander FICME (Managing Director of William Lee Ltd).
Five challenging and interesting rounds of science and history-based questions tested the abilities of the teams of four people, in a close-run competition.
The quiz was won by team ‘Castings Plc’ with 94 points, with team ‘Clanceys and Eddie’ second, with 90 points, and last year’s winners, ‘ICME Head Office’ in third place, with 88.5 points.
The buffet was kindly sponsored by Tcast Ltd and the wine by Zerust UK.
