Midlands-based Birmingham Case Makers Ltd were asked to prepare a new box to hold the National President’s Jewel. The medal itself, which is made of gold and enamel, dates back many years, and is passed on to each new National President to wear at relevant events.   The box holding the jewel had started to disintegrate so the current President, Martin Dudley FICME, decided that a new box was required.

“I am really pleased that we have been able to have this new jewel box made by a local company – it seems fitting that as we are a charity based in the UK, with members who are part of the metals and manufacturing sector, that we too support local manufacturing businesses.

The work has now been completed and we are delighted with the results.  The new box will now hold this medal safely for many future ICME Presidents.  Thanks to Shaun Adams and his team at the company.”
