It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr Samuel Apsley CEng FIMMM Hon FICME. Samuel passed away on the 5th June at the age of 93.
Samuel is survived by his wife Rita, children David and Fiona and four grandchildren.
Samuel was National President of the Institute of British Foundrymen in 1979 and continued to be a member of the Institute for over 70 years. Samuel was made an Honorary Fellow of the Institute in 2002. He was presented with a Long & Notable Services Award in 2019 and recognised for his long-standing service with Silver and Gold Pins.
The funeral will be held on 11 July 2025 at Redditch Crematorium at 11.45am.
