ICME are pleased to award Mr Tim Birch Prof MICME, a Silver Pin in recognition of 30 years in membership of ICME.
Tim is currently Global Product Director for coatings at Foseco.
Tim started his career at the Cook Group steel foundries back in 1991, working first at their site in Sheffield and then Hi-Tec Integrity in Penistone, where he completed his MSc in Metals Technology & Management.
In 1995 Tim switched to the foundry supply side with SMC Foundry Products which was subsequently acquired by Foseco, where he has held a number of roles in product management and marketing over the past 30 years.
Tim stated he has enjoyed being a member of ICME for the last 30 years.
