Induction Furnace Relining and fritting

Date: 12th May 2026. 
Time: 9:30am – 4:30pm. 
Location: Dunston Business Village, Stafford Road, Stafford, ST18 9FJ. 
Duration: 1 day.

Who it’s for:
Improve your knowledge of how to reline , sinter and maintain induction furnace linings during a furnace melt campaign. Course
make up will be technical presentations coupled with application on the foundry melting plant.

The course will focus on:

• What are refractories and their types
• Properties of refractories
• Monolithic and crucible lining types
• Lining removal and installation procedures
• Furnace coil protection and screeding
• Types and application sintering processes
• Induction furnace construction layout
• Understanding furnace charging and lining monitoring
• Understanding basic operation of melt process.
